Working for the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation, graphic designer Maja Smith and I wrote and designed twelve 18”x24” interpretive panels along a universally accessible boreal forest trail. As a universally accessible trail, we incorporated audio pen technology, allowing visually impaired visitors to listen to a recording of the interpretive text.
